I began pursuing art in high school, although I can trace my interest in the visual arts to my earliest of memories; the strongest of these goes back to preschool when I, obsessed with colour, presented brown and black blobs of mixed paint to my teachers, who were unimpressed and somewhat concerned; but I was only trying to create a new colour! I finally realized that isn’t possible, yet I still have the desire to see something never before seen. This has lead to me playing with colours in high contrast and vivid tones.

I moved to Italy when I was 15 where I really got into my art. I took as many art classes as I could in high school. My senior year I was taking three different art classes. At the end of the day the teacher just let me do whatever I wanted; so it gave me plenty of time to experiment with everything including pencils, pastels, charcoal, watercolours, acrylics, oils, spray paint and more!

I’ve exhibited my works at a number of venues around Ottawa and continue to grow my portfolio.
